The system is trained on examples of bark audio and non-bark audio. Over time, it learns which acoustic features are associated with different types of vocalizations, and uses those patterns to make predictions about what a bark might indicate, such as excitement, stress, or alertness.

Dogs can communicate a variety of emotions through nonverbal cues, many of which go unnoticed or misinterpreted, often leading to misinformed pet care.
